Undergraduate Degrees Offered

Creighton offers two programs in Atmospheric Science:

The Degree of Bachelor of Science B.S.

This degree program can prepare students for occupations in the National Weather Service. TV and radio weather forecasting, agricultural and industrial meteorology, oceanography, environmental protection fields, and meteorology programs in the military services. It is also excellent preparation for work in which a liberal education with an emphasis on earth science is desirable.

The Degree of Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences B.S. (ATS)

This program requires a greater depth of concentration in atmospheric sciences and will prepare students for graduate work as well as for technical work in the National Weather Service, or other governmental laboratories such as the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, USAF Air Weather Service or other agencies with weather energy related problems.
